Letter Building Pieces

Description

This set of wooden letter building pieces offers young learners a hands-on method of learning the letters of the alphabet.

Each set consists of large half circles, small half circles, long sticks, and short sticks. Together, these pieces allow young learners to construct every letter of the alphabet one piece at a time. As they build the letters, they can physically learn the strokes it takes to write each one of them one stroke at a time.

These letter building pieces can be purchased in the following three sizes:

• 16 Piece Set: consists of 4 large half circles, 4 small half circles, 4 long sticks, and 4 short sticks. This set allows a learner to build about 2-3 letter at once and is best if there will be just one child using the pieces at a time.
• 32 Piece Set: consists of  8 large half circles, 8 small half circles, 8 long sticks, and 8 short sticks. This set allows a learner to build about 4-6 letters at once and is best if 2-3 children will be using the pieces at a time.
• 64 Piece Set: consists of  16 large half circles, 16 small half circles, 16 long sticks, and 16 short sticks. This set allows a learner to build about 10-15 letters at once and is best if a larger group of children will be using them at the same time or if you want to be able to spell out entire names or longer words with the pieces.

The letter building pieces are made from Red Oak. We use a food grade mineral oil commonly used for cutting boards as a finish to keep them child friendly.

The pieces come with a canvas pouch to allow for easy storage and transportation.
